Maybe I should have been a nurse so I could opt to work nights.  Anyway, I'm up because I had to get the kiddo ready for school. The poor thing woke up with a sore, scratchy throat.  She doesn't have a fever so I'm blaming allergies.  The tree pollens are high today according to the news reports. I gave her some medicine that's supposed to be non-drowsy, but it makes her drowsy anyway.  I would keep her home, but I have to go to work today at 10:30.  I just wrote the teacher a note letting her know why my kid is a zombie today.  If only I could write a note explaining while I'll most likely be a zombie today!
