This morning, while dropping off the kiddo, I got a call from the day school director at my church. She needed a sub desperately.  The assistant teacher for the 3 year old class had to stay at home with her son. He had an asthma attack either last night or this morning, so she didn't know she would be absent until the last minute. While I was looking forward to going back to my warm bed and taking advantage of this good sleeping weather (it's cold and rainy today), I realized this may be God's way of helping me out financially. I also have to work tomorrow, Friday and Friday night. 

 The demigoddess was a little upset because she thought I would be working at her school today.  She's still at that age where she thinks its cool to have her mom around. 

Yesterday was the first day on my new job and it went pretty well. Two of the teacher's I subbed for before made comments about how the school office stole their favorite sub.  When the 4th graders I've subbed for on two occasions saw me in the office they were very excited to see me! That class is such a riot!
