On A Lighter Note....

Here are some words I use in my classroom that replace the curse (cuss) words I really want to say:

1) Cotton-picking (replaces mother fucking)

2) Sam Hill (replaces hell as in "what in the hell...?" I also say "what in the devil.."

3) H-E- double hockey sticks. (replaces hell as in "You're going to catch hell if I see you do that again. It can also replace Sam hill)

4) Got Derned (G-Damn)

5) Ding Danged (G-Damn)

6) Spit (replaces shit, "You didn't do this homework worth a spit!"

7) Tail (replaces ass - "Sit your tail down and do your work"
