When I listen to music, I admit that I don’t focus much on the lyrics. However, when the lyrics are so powerful, witty or clever I am compelled to play the song over and over again. I am often inspired by the lyrics of female songwriters. Lately, there seems to be a resurgence of women who write or co-write their own music.
