Today Environgirl called and told me she need to get away from the monotony of life for a few hours. I needed a diversion from my latest funk so I was glad to have an excuse to get away.

First, we had Thai at our favorite Thai restaurant.  It was so easy to keep to my vegetarian diet there. I even ate tofu.  I hated tofu when I first tried it, but it wasn't half bad drenched in Thai spices. Later, we nixed going to the movies in favor of going to the ...uh hem..."toy store".  They have a huge supply of incense and we had fun trying the different scents.  Dakkar Noir still drives me mad with lust and so does dragon's blood. They had this one fragrance called "Black Pearl" -- let's just say I have no idea how they replicated that particular scent.  I don't even think I want to know.

When we got to the "toy section" of the store, we saw a mighty nice sized toy that looked an awful lot like a male's genitalia.  As it has been discussed numerous times before, toys resembling actual male phalluses (veiny and all) are illegal in Texas.  I asked to take a look at it and in small print on the front of the package it read, "For novelty purposes only".  Interesting. I have no idea what a novelty purpose for a dildo would be, but ...uh...whatever.  Upon further examination it seemed quite functional to me.  It certainly didn't look like a novelty type item.  Environgirl and I just figured the disclaimer was written in order to get around Texas' stringent law on "obscene merchandise". 

I spied an interesting variation of The Bullet and read the description. It said that it was quiet and had multiple speeds. I laughed and said, "Quiet is important! I had one that was so loud, it sounded like someone was doing the yard!" The clerk cracked up and so did Egirl. When we finally left the store we were exhausted from laughing so hard.  When I get paid next week, I may have to go back and get that Bullet!
